Come fall and besides looking out for the monsoon here is something to cheer up all you techies. Adobe is organizing Max 2009 this October, a conference to teach, share, discuss for four days long, from the 4th October to 7th October, the emerging technologies and how you can clamp on these opportunities.
This year’s conference is on the trends revolutionizing communications: social computing, client and cloud, and the spread of rich media across screens and devices The sheer size and brand of Adobe Max 2009 is bringing together a whole lot of people from America all the way to Japan to experience the cutting-edge breakthroughs of the Adobe team and to share their own expertise.
Max this year brings back the popular sessions. L.A. plays host to the all time favourite session Sneak Peaks where you get to view the latest developments from the Adobe labs that might be churned out as new products and services.
Then there are the Max awards for the out-of-the-box projects under eight different categories, including mobile, entertainment, social networking. This goes a long way in encouraging new talent.
During lunch breaks you have BOF (Birds of a feather) sessions, which are informal meetings where the community members pick a topic of their own choice and share views on it. This is a change from previous years so now the jam packed event can sail smooth with more sessions and productive lunches.
If the above sessions aren’t already making you write a mental note to check out this conference, this sure will. In the evenings the community can Meet the Teams and have a conversational session with the Adobe product teams, ask them what’s new, how and why! You can meet you everyday techie heroes and get gyan first-hand. What’s better is after a long, hard day, you get to unwind with the Max Bash and socialize the way L.A’s nightlife does.
